Designers must be curious, eager to learn and willing to collaborate with others.

Most of my career has been in US based offices and I’ve been involved with the local design programs in those communities. Gensler promotes connectivity with the local design schools and the entire community.We strive to connect more with the local design community.
我大部分时间供职于美国公司,此前也经常参与当地的设计领域活动。Gensler致力于推动与当地设计院校和机构的互动。我们竭诚希望于当地设计机构取得更多的联系。
ID-CHINA:您眼中的助手需要具备那些素质?

Gensler is a global organization that is locally divided into studios to serve the local market. In the Shanghai office we have primarily Chinese staff but we also have staff from around the world, so sometimes the language barrier is a challenge. Gensler staff in those studios are mentored and trained for individual success and career growth. Gensler culture encourages curiosity and innovation, therefore we guide staff through a variety of opportunities to help them find their passion.

ID-CHINA:您一天24小时的工作时间与生活时间是如何分配的?
My design director role allows me the opportunity to work with four or five project teams daily. I give advice and criticism on marketing & fees for new projects, analysis of client goals, strategy & design solutions and presentations. As an office and studio leader I collaborate with other office leaders on Gensler culture, recruiting new designers and internal programs.
由于我的职位是设计总监,这要求我每天必须同时与4-5个项目团队同时工作。我对市场开发、新的项目报价、客户目标分析、战略和设计方案、以及项目汇报文件提出建议和意见。作为办公室和工作室负责人,我在Gensler文化、新员工招募和内部项目上与Gensler其他办公室负责人合作。
